My Quilts
Here are links to quilts and patchwork that I have created.
Some are bed quilts, some are clothing and some are bags.
For all of them, I have taken an idea and run away with it.
I made this as a raffle prize, but I think I liked it more than the winner!
Most bags are not big enough to hold a cake horizontally - so I made one.
Have patches, make a bag.
I started with a pattern for a fitted vest, and cut the pieces to crazy-patch in three fabrics.
Pattern? I made it up as I went along.
I tried a quilting course, but didn't follow the instructions.
I have long been fascinated by MC Escher's lithograph "Three Worlds", showing the worlds of a pond; above the water, on the water and below the water.
The pattern came from ... but I preferred more life-like chooks!
